To allow for an undistracted environment where you can ask questions and connect with our staff, we recommend that children stay home for this particular event. Don’t worry—your children won't miss out! We have a wonderful student Open House scheduled for the spring designed specifically to help them feel at home in their new school.
Pre-enrolment for the 2026-2027 school year will open February 2, 2026! Students currently enrolled in an Edmonton Public School can log into Schoolzone on February 2 and make their selection for next year.
If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
For the current 2025 - 2026 school year, Rideau Park School is full in planned classes for Kindergarten to Grade 6 in both the regular and German Bilingual program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for the German Bilingual program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Kindergarten to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.
