Registrations for 2024-2025

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATIONS

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the deadline to help our school get ready for 2024–25!

We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 22, 2024, have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!

Full in Planned Classes:

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, Rideau Park School is full in planned classes in Grades 3 to 6 in the German Bilingual program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for these grade levels in this program.

With the exception of Kindergarten, the school is also full in planned classes in the regular program.

We will now only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

This event is geared towards the parents/guardians. We encourage families to leave their children at home

Principal's Message

The Rideau Park School community has a long-standing history of success. Since 1977 our school has been serving families in the Rideau Park neighborhood of south-central Edmonton and families in the broader community who travel to our school for our K-6 German Bilingual program. In addition to this program, we offer regular K-6 programming in English.

Rideau Park School has nurtured the twin traditions of excellence and celebration of culture that have been established by the outstanding staff, students, and parents whose efforts the school has benefitted from over the years. With the benefit of a very supportive and active parent community, our exceptional staff provides the very best instruction to our students as they begin their educational journey in the formative first half of their public education.

We strive equally to meet the Edmonton Public School Vision of enhancing pathways for student success, and to live up to our own: Rideau Park is a place where minds and hearts grow every day. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about our school or our programs. We look forward to serving our school community this year!

Suzanne Fuller, Principal
